But to acquire this service, it is important to make sure every senior citizen first gets vaccinated. Otherwise, this rule will not apply, and the travelers will need to pay the full price.

The officials from the PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) authority has announced that anyone more than 50 years old can acquire this 10 percent discount if she or he is vaccinated. Moreover, this discount is also only applied to domestic flights that will cover all the domestic PIA services.

 

When Will this Service be Effective?

This special announcement is already taken effect. It means that when the spokespersons from the PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) announces this news, they also mentioned that anyone eligible for this service could immediately acquire it as well.

 

But every person interested in this will have to show his or her COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Moreover, the certificate of any medical facility will not be accepted. Instead, only the official certificate issued by NADRA will be applicable.

 

What about the Inaugural Safari PIA Flights?

Suppose you don’t already know that PIA has also announced to start its safari service to improve national tourism. But now, sadly, the inaugural pia for this service has been delayed because of the harsh weather in almost all the northern part of Pakistan.

 

The clear weather is very critical to see some of the highest mountains of the earth. Even if there is no danger for the flights because of the weather, there is no point in going in the forecasted sky for a safari flight where the travelers won’t be able to see and enjoy anything. So now, this flight will operate on 19th June 2021 instead of 12th June.
