PIA Suspends its International Flights to Kabul

PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) is the national flag carrier of the country and it has recently announced that it has temporarily stopped offering online ticket booking pia in Kabul. The representatives from the international airline have stated that it has happened because of the unprofessional attitude of the Taliban authorities.

Undue Delays in PIA Flights

The spokesperson of Pakistan International Airlines, Mr. Abdullah Hafeez Khan said that many PIA flights have been facing undue delays because of the unprofessional behavior of the new Taliban authorities. He also said that the travel between the two countries will remain suspended and PIA international flight booking online will not be issued till the current situation becomes conducive.

In a subsequent statement, the spokesman emphasized that the PIA had continued to fly into and out of Kabul despite "tough conditions" while others had halted operations.

The Role of PIA

It is very important to note that the PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) successfully evacuated approximately 3,000 people in response to the dramatically changing political situation in Afghanistan. PIA also aided Afghanistan multiple times and one of the most significant events was the delivery of medicines by the World Health Organization. Multiple times the national flag carrier took off with its PIA special flights to help the neighboring country.

Remarks of Taliban Spokesperson

Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid stated that the current Afghani government will examine complaints of alleged abuse of PIA personnel and travelers that took place at the International Airport of Kabul by authorities.

The authorities will examine allegations of mistreatment and take appropriate action. All organizations and enterprises are vital to Afghanistan. The Request From Taliban to Reduce Prices

The news comes as Afghanistan's Taliban administration demanded on Thursday that Pakistan International Airlines and Afghan Kam Air lower prices on the Kabul-Islamabad-Kabul route. Both airlines have yet to begin their official commercial flights and instead rely on chartered aircraft with exorbitant prices.

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of the neighboring country requested that the PIA flight booking fares should be lower. The ministry also requested from Kam Air the same so that the cost of flights between the two countries gets lower.

It is also important to note that the letter from the Ministry to the Airlines says that it is very important to reduce the fare. The information has been relayed to Pakistan International Airlines and the private business Kam Air to reduce the tariff on the Kabul to Islamabad route to the level previous to the Islamic Emirate's triumph. If the airlines do not accept this plan, their operations on the route would be terminated.
